On Tuesday, November 15 Cohort 4 celebrated the 18 month milestone of their Circles journey. While it marks the completion of their official time in Circles, we look forward to welcoming them into the great Circles alumni community and the continued relationship building that happens in life after Circles. The Cohort 4 Leaders who completed Circles are: Isley Coleman, Courtney Duke, Ondrea Gooch, Gussie Mokszycki, Shaniqua Nwabude and Tobias Villegas. There is so much to be celebrated in the accomplishments of these Leaders!
Cohort 5 Leaders have entered into a series of Career workshops, including a resume workshop by Cheryl Harvey, the Director of Career Success from Washtenaw Community College as well as a Self Promotion and Developing Your Elevator Pitch workshop hosted by Nancy Wayne, the Circles JET Steering Committee Chair and President of Women Advancing Together.
Both Cohorts 4 & 5 participated together in a workshop hosted by the Big View team on Tuesday, September 27. At this meeting Circles Coach Bonita Bingham gave a riveting speech about why voting matters. In small groups we explored what will be on the ballot in the General Election, spending extra time dissecting the language of the state ballot proposal.
