Raise your bottle to Friends In Deed!
That’s what Lucky’s Market in Ann Arbor is doing. They are raising money for Friends In Deed by offering “up” at least seven truck loads of bottles and cans for recycling. Best of all, Friends In Deed will reap all the deposits!
Of course, there is a process involved. Lots of volunteers have helped us to collect the bottles and cans, store them, sort them, and take them in to collect deposits. That being said, the process is ongoing. We have already collected three truckloads of bottles/cans and have four truckloads to go. We also want to thank the folks at U-Lock-It Self Storage in Belleville for donating storage space for the bottles, as well as Jim and Malinda Waltz for donating their garage space.
