The folks at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church of Dexter have hosted a Pillow and Blanket Drive in the parish for several years now. The drive started many years ago with the help of long-time Friends In Deed volunteer and parishioner Sally Carpinella and continues through today. In fact, Michelle Hochrein and her son dropped by today to drop off the quilts, sheet sets, blankets, throws and pillows that were collected. We will certainly put them to good use by making them available to low-income families in our community who are receiving beds from us.
