Thierry was a part of Circles’ first cohort when he was at work when his car was totaled in a hit and run a city over from his home. This was devastating. The car was not only used to get him around for work and for his immediate family, but he also takes his father to his doctor’s appointments. He tried a couple different options; none of them were good enough substitutions. His first idea was to rent a car until he could receive a new one. This idea lasted a week and costed him $500! He then tried buying another used car. After finding one that was suitable for his needs, it sat in a parking lot. There were too many issues to fix to make the car drivable. Thierry was at cross roads, he needed something reliable for work and his family. That’s when Bonita and Suzanne suggested the Transportation Program at Friends In Deed. He had known about Friends In Deed, but didn’t know he could receive a car from them. He asked Bonita and Suzanne questions, contacted the helpline, and was put on the list. Thierry was ecstatic when he received his car!

Thierry has since launched from the Circles program but he still comes to alumni nights and is a member of the Big View team.
